Who is Robert l Montgomery true parents

I found his Irish-Scottish ancestry on ancestry.com but i want to know if it’s true. Some says its a gen john Montgomery William Montgomery but mine says James Madison Montgomery and it also says I’m related to general Richard Montgomery but one thing it is they all come from Ireland i just don’t know how to find his real parents
