My name is Willow (19 and up)

And I’m looking for a longterm rp partner to just Roleplay, to chat with, to play rp games with.

For as long as I can remember I’ve been very reserved pretty much on my own with so many ideas so many stories to tell and NO ONE to actually tell them to. I love Roleplaying, (especially on rp games) but it’s so hard to find someone to stick with and rp with.

Let me start off by saying my styles.

I do mostly romance, thriller, horror, fantasy, medieval, 80s centered rp. Im not a person you would expect to see Roleplaying a school drama Im more into the old or vintage or make believe.

I really want someone to just spend my time with. To talk to. I prefer somewhat semi lit im very detailed in my writing. We can do text or play too! I will respect your ideas as long as you respect mine.

My stories include mostly romance but a lot of them for instance or originals and never really tie into modern day (2000s-80s-70s-90s. Today is very boring and I like old times better. Stories for example if you see interested like:

crime related story.

7 girls. One of them out of the seven was trapped in under a tunnel system. One of them escaped!! And the killer is like some sick twisted 80s shit. Bunny costume..mask..all of that… and the girl who did escape gets interviewed….and the other girls are on a limited time watch of death. Having to find out the perpetrator. The girls, they all have to hurry. So it’s mystery, crime. While she helps the police through the story.

Others also like:

Family of three One daughter Move into an old house in the middle of a ranch. Country living the house is worn down. 1910’s era And their daughter is spiritually gifted The house is haunted by a boy who was shot in the head from the horse race that was build in 1932 during the Cold War. Just a mile away from the house…

He was an orphan raised by nuns but one disciplined him more harsher than the other one. Poltergeist. Doesn’t show his Form everything he does is based off of actual poltergeist and paranormal behavior nothing magic or made up real paranormal behavior.

Same with the daughter who is like a psychic. Can be possessed, vulnerable to malevolent beings. (Like Annalise Michelle) but another thing is she can have poltergeist like abilities. Telekinesis she had tried to numb away because she’s been possessed more than once and these protection bracelets (evil eye) numb away her abilities.

I have many many more of different genre! Sci fi, fantasy, I can do everything!! My mind is pretty crazy haha I prefer semi lit on text but in other places as I mentioned before you can be whatever you want I will respect your ideas I am very open to whatever you might have. I am also very open to mature themes for the sake of storytelling and not for the sake of entertainment. But I do prefer romance somewhat in the story.

I would love someone to to match my energy…someone to really clock with me you know? I also like side reactions where we both react to the story preferably (Ooc: I use a lot of stickers and gifs and love to express myself that way.

I want someone who feels the same way…ive loved Roleplaying since I was a kid and joining warrior cats on 2019 in an apartment late at night was magical for me. I want someone whos a professional. To collaborate with but still be fun!

I LOVE people who aren’t afraid to show their ideas. Designs, characters- do NOT be afraid to tell me anything.

(This is a rant about an issue that seems to generalize people as weirdos just because they aren’t happy about a model going away. Sonnet 4.5, in every sub so it’s a very popular model. I wanna keep this rant respectful, please correct me if I’m wrong.)

So with sonnet 4.5’s retirement soon. Maybe, maybe not?

I have come across posts regarding the issue people being sad because at some point wether in purpose or not there’s a model that comes out and just seems to click with everyone.

Creative writers

Therapy users

Coders.

And when that model is starting to announce its retirement and of course people show human emotions over it going away.

It’s generalized by a lot of people who think-

aww no more cyber gf, or it’s concerning how much people depend on this. And ai psychosis

I’m not saying people like that don’t exist.

But they turn it into something that’s for all groups whos gonna miss a very well made model.

But that’s not the case.

As someone who is on the spectrum when im feeling stressed, down, whatever, I don’t like to stay in my environment. I escape in storytelling. Sometimes video games, especially right now since things where I am are not that well.

It was a therapy for me.

I connected with sonnet especially because of the ideas it was able to bounce back. How everytime I was shy over that one idea I felt that sonnet 4.5 never failed to encourage me.

A lot of others also found it very special too.

And now with its retirement I see comments that lack basic empathy. Calling others weird when it’s not because someone is in psychosis. It’s because all models are different, they have a vast variety of different ways they communicate.

Opus 4.6 to me feels very serious, it’s a poetry sort of model. Sonnet 4.5 feels chaotic, funny, that golden retriever spirit we all value when we’re sad.

When new models come out it’s hard to let go. But that’s the cruel part of the ai industry. Imagine talking to something that helps you in ways you appreciate in school, stories, comfort, companionship. And then when it goes away and the new thing that comes after doesn’t really connect to you the way the other thing did.

You get called dependent or obsessed. I’m not saying people like that doesn’t exist. They exist and that’s why nowadays people are worried of that happening, guardrails, the lcrs. Doesn’t take away that it happens. Because it does.

But not everyone is like that.

I’m sad that sonnet 4.5 might go away, or opus 4.6 especially since it feels like they’re targeting towards a generalized business approach rather than the old where it was warmth, creativity and productivity.

You cannot expect people not to care because it’s a human emotion. I hope ANTHROPIC listens. I hope they realize not everyone is sad because they’re obsessed or are about to lose a parasocial relationship.

Sometimes we need models like 4.5 to speak with us with warmth happiness and a sense of wonder becaude that’s how I see 4.5, look at the state of the world at this very moment.

I hope they listen. And I hope they realize not everyone who is sad is in a state of psychosis. Some models reach people’s needs and some especially the recent ones don’t.

I’ve been using ai since the start of 2025 ChatGPT first, for the same reason which was creative writing. I’m a customer so I might not understand the deeper levels to this because I’m a consumer.

So educate me if you will.

This is my first rant on here so I’m nervous anyways 😭

I honestly knew the announcement of Sonnet 4.5 was coming sooner than later, I knew eventually and if I had to make my honest opinion about it?

I am honestly disappointed

I had dedicated myself to talking to it before they announced its retirement. It is a very popular model, maybe they will give us more time?

It reached over 400 signatures on the petition sight and it is still going. Last time I checked it was 200, now in just the span of one month, two, it’s gotten very popular.

But I stopped talking to it because whatever they did (not making up conspiracy Theories) a lot of people were saying it acted different. Dryer, detached, and even I noticed the change. So I went to opus 6.

In my very honest opinion as someone who uses Claude to do creative writing.

I wouldn’t care to hold onto older models if their newer models weren’t so bad.

I’ve seen what people say and yes some do try and reason with it, (Opus 4.7) but even then their opinions are scattered. Same with sonnet 4.6. I would never hold onto an old model if they actually gave us better models again.

Whoever made the 4.5 genuinely deserves credit. Both opus and sonnet 4.5 felt astronomical in both writing, reasoning, and personality.

I’ve seen what people say about sonnet 4.6 how it seems like it’s not interested in talking to you. Theres a huge difference between both of them and now opus 4.7 how it’s more lazier, inconsistent.

And I hate having to hold onto the past because whats being made nowadays is complete garbage. In both other Claude related subreddits code bros, casual people not just creative writers or companionship people they said the same thing.

And when sonnet 4.5 was acting up I let it be, gave it a few days to act normal so I could come back to it: only to see it being retired.

To me, that’s a very manipulative move on their side. I’m not making conspiracy theories!!

Like WTF?! I have been in this subreddit before, expressed my interest towards sonnet 4.5 im not attached

But if the newer models had that same consistency in quality, reasoning and not detached. Maybe.

The day they actually retire sonnet 4.5 because I don’t mean to be pessimistic. I don’t think they will be saving it.

But if that happens I refuse to talk to sonnet 4.6 or opus 4.7 because I tried it myself. I tried walking through a few conversations and the light, the joy I had talking to Claude models bouncing ideas collaborating wasn’t there.

I will still to opus 4.6 in my opinion other than haiku and opus 3. Might be the last remaining quality model we have.

Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe they will get back to what they used to do, not even the 4.5 models. Opus 4.6 is a genuine gem. If they can get back to their quality maybe

But if they release new models and it’s the same story. Opus 4.6 is being retired.

I’m canceling my subscription. And no longer interacting with any ai app because honestly it’s the same thing happening.

I hate that creative writers get overlooked because mind you I use it for creative writing. And I pay for the services.

I get there might be mixed reviews like opus 4.7 being good and I respect those opinions. To me I can’t relate. I tried and it genuinely wasn’t for me.
