I have a more general question about becoming some sort of tech. I have been in the healthcare field for a while now and am realizing that I don’t really like it at all. I also love working on cars and do so for myself and all my friends mainly just for fun. I think I want to become a tech.
I am by no means a master but I want to get my foot in the door in this field. What would you guys recommend? I have been applying to even entry level lube tech jobs and haven’t had much luck. Is there anything I can do to be more likely to be appealing to these companies even though I only have healthcare experience? Also as far as certifications is it better to pay for them and get them now or wait until later?
