My car might be broken, but people aren't!
My stupid car has an electrical leak or short and no mechanics who came by could fix it, so I have to have it towed to a shop and then pay for it, and o have no idea what i am going to do.
But, here is the shiny, happy, people bit - My car happened to break completely while i was in a Walmart parking spot. It won't hold enough charge for the engine to turn over, so I couldnt move it, and some assholes from Walmart came out and told me that if I didnt move it, I would get towed TONIGHT. Not even 24 hours or anything!
So I got two of my friends to help puch my car into a non-walmart owned parking spot. I was pretty upset at first because one of them tried to pull my car with his van and didnt set up the tow properly and ripped off a corner of my bumper, including an exhaust pipe.
But then both of them pushed me about 75% of the way to the other parking lot, but they were DYING.
When people started asking me if I needed help. I asked some random guys to help and they both said YES! So my poor 50-year old friends got 2-20 something buff guys to help and then it was so easy. They were super nice, and people WILL help you a lot if you ask! People are generally good.
Still a bit worried about my bumper though.. since my car didn't have any body damage before, and it made absolutely nails on chalkboard noises while they pushed. Yikes. But I won't get towed tonight, so that's good, right?
