Toronto Uniform and Accreditation
Hello friends, I wanted to share my experience today picking up accreditation and uniforms in Toronto. Shoutout to the incredible staff who helped everything run smoothly!
You will need to bring the ID specified in your application, and this will be mentioned in your email confirmation prior to your pickup slot. You will not be able to pick up your accreditation without it. Do NOT take photos of your pass or share with anyone. They are very very strict about this.
You may need to retake your photo for your accreditation pass there for validation. When I was there, some (including myself) who tried to use the self serve kiosks needed to see an attendant and retake a photo.
You will need to head into building “L” to pickup your accreditation pass BEFORE heading into the main building (where tryouts were) to pickup uniforms. There is great signage and lots of staff inside the building to guide you on where to go.
You will need to present your accreditation pass to receive a ticket indicating your queue order to try on the uniform.
You will be able to try on the shirt and the pants, try to wear something you can change quickly into as there are only a few changing areas. Each pop-up changing area has a mirror. I found them relatively spacious.
As others have stated, the shorts and the pants do not fit the same for women. I needed to try every size and ended up needing a much differently sized pant than short. You must have all items from the men’s kit or the women’s kit.
You will then try on the shoes, they may be out of some sizes but generally I found that my size was true to size. Some found them to fit slightly larger so they went down half a size.
Most importantly, relax and have fun! The energy is great and everyone is excited to be involved. Can’t wait to get started!
