Katseye is not hardworking or talented

I made a huge post in the other snark, that is flooded by fans, and got shit for it. I don't dare to post it again here word for word, but I still wanna voice my opinion.

In the other snark I saw a lot of defending of katseye a la "they're so talented but they give them shit songs" or "they're so hard working they deserve better". And I don't think that's true.

Because at the end of the day they got famous because hybe (and I guess Geffen) are really really good at marketing and have a lot of money. They got so many ads not because of their fame, but because hxg shoved them in everyone's face and spammed us with Tiktok videos. They out them in ads and interviews, that's it. They sure are busy with a lot of shows, I admit that, but they're not hard working. Otherwise their life performances would be good. Otherwise their interviews would be interesting to read. Otherwise they'd write songs of their own or get creative in any way. Like many kpop idols and other musicians do.

And for the talent - they're good in some aspects but thats it. I don't see that much talent? Like some vocals or danc removed are mediocre.

I find it insulting calling a bunch of industry plants get called hard working to stay relevant when there are others out there who work their butt off. (Not naming any names as that's what got me hate over there). And it's weird that nobody in the other snark agreed that used to be a popular opinion

So this is why eyekons are the worst fandom

Tumblr sometimes suggests me katseye posts so I did like a minute of "research" trying to find some snarking before I stumbled upon these.

It's giving "oh look at me, I'm a western white girl so I'm so much better than Asian people" and it makes me so angry. I'm a kpop Stan and I'm sick and tired of eyeclowns making us worse than we actually are (yes kpop fans are often problematic but not in this sense come on). As a white European - no we are not better than everyone else. No we are not more progressive than everyone else. Quite the opposite actually and I'm tired of those micro aggression.

I don't wanna go into too much detail since this is a snark sub and not one for complex discussions about big topics like feminism. But it's infuriating how these hormonal teenagers talk like they know shit when they don't. Being sex positive and progressive does not mean everyone has to be naked and sexual all the time. It doesn't mean calling every single criticism hate. It's not doing a 180 and demonizing the "puritan" side. This whole topic is way more complicated!! It's not "the more skin is showing the better". Not at aaaaaalll ah I'm so mad.

A community that treats everything sexual as a negative thing based on religion to the point where people are forced into celibacy are NOT the same as people questioning if it's moral to shale a bare ass in front of a kid audience.

My first lily of the valley 🥰

You guys! I did it! My island is 5 stars and I got a lily of the valley 🥰 it made me really happy so I wanted to share.

Also my refurbished switch lite arrived and I'm so happy that I can have two islands now and give myself some stuff. I know it sounds excessive to have two gaming consoles but I'm having a hard time mentally rn and it might stay that way for a while and i really enjoy acnh and the escape it offers me 🥰
