Moved into hour 110 year old house last year and the interior was given the flipper special. I love every part of our home, except this god forsaken fireplace. It's quartz?

The dream is to one day completely redo the entire thing, but that is not in the financial cards rn.

What can I do in the mean time? Is it possible to add a mantle of some sort? I wish I could paint it, lol.
