Post-surgery roundness
I posted on here a while ago about a concern I had re my face shape after surgery. I knew I would be puffy, but after years I had to come to terms with the fact that my face was much more masculine shaped (wider / fuller). My cheekbones disappeared and my smile was smaller. I felt like I always looked puffy / kinda chubby in the face. I couldn’t figure it out, but then this past year I got Botox in my masseter muscles. This made a HUGE difference. My takeaway was essentially they grew “too strong” post-op when my body was healing, and they were over-engaged. Botox allowed some of that muscle to reduce from atrophy, which helped my profile slim closer to its original shape. Just thought I’d share incase anyone else is running into the same thing.
