Went to post office today but when I asked the counter person to post my parcel as registered parcel, he told registered isn't available now and will have to do speed post.
I'm so confused rn. Someone had earlier told me that India post parcel service is available. But why post office told that it's not available. Someone pls guide me, I have to use post to parcel with weights around 100-200 gram. I don't want to do speed post ( high cost) and also want tracking for parcel.
Post office is always so packed with people and always in a hurry. They don't even listen carefully 😭 Pls help.
Which will be a better service in regards to tracking and cost effectiveness when sending parcels around 100-200 grams (domestic) ?? Can someone give insights on the parcel service of India post like speed post, registered post and India post parcel. Or any other service which can provide tracking + low cost.
Context- I did 2 speed post (domestic) which costed me 160 Rs. So for payment I used upi but servers were down which I told to counter person so he said to try again. When I tried again, transaction happened and at the same time that person said 'stop stop, don't do it. Pay in cash'. But transaction was successful. He said, 'it's not showing in system and that money will be back in my account. For now pay in cash'. So I paid 160 Rs in cash too. After that he said, 'You will get your online money back after some time.

Still I haven't got my upi 160 Rs back. Pls help

2nd question -I don't know how things work in post, so this might sound dumb. I wanted to track my post so I opted for speed post but it costed me more. Can registered post be tracked too? How much cost difference would be between registered post and speedpost for domestic? How much more time normally it would take than speed post?
