The Glen
So I have been listening to all the books again preparing for the release in October. I just finished TOG for the millionth time and moved straight into ACOTAR after. Listening back-to-back made me notice something...
In one of the alternative/false realities Maeve creates for Aelin, she is giving her a lesson in a glen, telling her the story of the queen who could walk between worlds.
The glen is described very similarly to the one that Tamlin and Lucien take Feyre to in ACOTAR.
Aelin even says something about the willows singing or something like that, like what Tamlin describes before he lifts Feyre’s glamour.
Is this just SJM coincidentally using similar descriptions for each of these glens or do we think Maeve has either been to the Spring Court/Prythian and is using this visual? Would be really cool if they are somehow related. Who knows though. Thoughts? Theories? Unhinged theories welcomed and encouraged.
Edit: Also, I just remembered that Aelin also mentions swimming in a nearby pool with Rowan in this memory. Could that be the mysterious pool of starlight?
