Hello! I’m a banker and my manager seems to get annoyed over the smallest decision i make that i feel are best for my clients. For starters he doesn’t like when we open up accounts for people who don’t have a “legitimate” reason to bank with chase (they just want a notary, or to cash checks, or exchange large bills) and expects us to turn them away… is this allowed?

also they get annoyed whenever my business clients are ready and willing to do large transactions (limit increases, mortgages, loans) and i go through my BRM instead of business direct…

by me going and doing what i feel i best for the client and hot leads am i cutting. into my managers numbers and thus their bonus? or are they simply trying to control everything?
