Hi,

Looking for some advice on putting in new steps. The old ones are just wooden sleepers cut to size and laid directly onto soil. They are of course rotten and unstable.

I was thinking:

1. Replace current sleepers in same shape/position but lay down gravel underneath, and fix by driving rebar through them

2. Create U shaped steps, infill with gravel

Any tips?
