Exit Row Window Seat - Intoxicated and Vomiting
You sit down for a 4 hour cross country flight. Passenger already in the window seat looks asleep, but as soon as you sit down he begins to use the barf bag. He is visibly intoxicated. Flight attendant asks for everyone to confirm willing/able to assist for emergency, he says “yes”.
You run to the back of the plane before the cabin door closes to alert the entire crew about the safety concern of the passenger who is nowhere near prepared to do any physical activity whatsoever. They take no action to move the passenger or remove the passenger. 3.5 hours of vomiting directly next to you, zero attempt to go to the restroom.
The plane lands, thankfully no safety incident occurred.
What is proper recourse for this incident? Would penalizing this passenger ever occur?
