hey guys! i have a really severe fear of flying to the point where i genuinely think about flying and being in an airplane at least 2-3 times a day and how terrifying it is. this sub definitely helps to know im not alone but still needing help in the area of getting over it. i recently flew to japan for 8 hours and it honestly felt like my own idea of a saw trap the WHOLE time even with prescribed meds i was shaking constantly and freaking out 😭 i have some more short 3-4 hour flights scheduled for later in the year and i just cannot even go about my day to day life without being constantly on edge thinking about them. i know that flying is SO safe and i know im being irrational but it still doesn’t stop the feeling. i can’t even look out a plane window without feeling the sensation of falling and becoming nauseous lol. any advise on how to tackle this would be greatly appreciated!

hey guys! first time skiier and first time being in the snow soon, this was listed as ski outfit on marketplace but was wondering if this would be appropriate to ski in? it’s listed for $20 so a steal either way but unsure if the pants or the jacket are actually for skiing.

hey guys! i’m 20 years old and i’ve been skiing once in my life last year in japan (hakuba) we only went for one day and i was absolutely awful even after being taught by one of my really experienced friends. could not get the hang of it for the life of me and it made my day really unenjoyable. i’m supposed to be going to new zealand in a few months for a week of skiing and i don’t know if i should try snowboarding instead to see if i like it better? all of my friends snowboard and they all pretty much picked it up in a day. should i try skiing again or is skiing easier?
