Package delivered but not received
Hello,
My family in Pakistan sent me some gifts (I live in Ontario, Canada) via dhl express and the estimated day was May 14th. Yesterday our courier was out for delivery and was also marked as delivered, however we received no package. There was no knock on our door, no package left in the lobby/mail room of the building, driver did not call on the buzz code to enter the building either. I even went to the other buildings in the complex as I thought maybe the driver misread the address and left it in another building, but there was nothing.
Our package is marked as delivered and there is even proof of delivery which just doesn’t make sense. In the signature box there’s just a line drawn and we didn’t “sign” anything. On top of that, there is no photo confirmation either that the package was delivered. We contacted customer service yesterday and they said they will investigate and follow up in 24 hours. Fast forward to today and they are still investigating with no follow ups.
Has anyone been in this situation before? Has anyone got their package delivered in such circumstances? My family and I are very stressed as the package was expensive and around 25-30 kg, so it’s not like a package that big can vanish into thin air.
