so suppose you wanna learn where any sharp(#) note is? do you actively think that oh F# is half a step after F
and when you learn a flat(b) note ,do you think half a step down from G is Gb?

i dont know what to do, the tool that i use gives me the note F# and then the next note is like Gb like should i just not think about it? or i should think in the way i mentioned above?
