Im on CoT, and I looked up. "Is Aram from WoT a good Swordsman?" Because I couldn't recall him fighting, but Perrin treats him like he's skilled.
Lo and behold the first fucking result is a massive spoiler about him in KoF.
I literally didnt mean to, like all I did was Google a simple question. I'm genuinely baffled and upset. I keep doing this to myself and I don't learn. I even got the app but it only had a few sentences on Aram.
Im currently on the last 100 pages of Winters Heart on my 1st read. But I have been spoiled on a few things, hence the flair.
A lot of Rand's issues could have been solved if he had just respected Taim more and treated him a bit kinder.
Taim is clearly a bastard but he also was pretty loyal to Rand from LoC to CoS. When Rand is freaking out for example with the seal and Taim calms him down. At Dumai Wells and when he visits Rand after Fein shanked him.
But by PoD, you can tell he's just angry at Rand, for treating him like shit and getting worn down from it.
He might have still turned to dark because of Agenor, but I think he'd have had more pull to stay with the light
Also I wish Logain and Taim would have got a proper fight, I might be wrong but from what I understand Jordan left little notes for both and Sanderson didn't know how to end either character.
Seeing as how they're set up as equals it would be cool.
