I want to share my experience with Estudio T so that no other bride has to go through what I did on her wedding day.

I hired Estudio T to handle hair and makeup in April 2026 for all three of my wedding weekend events (including a welcome cocktail on Friday night, a wedding ceremony on Saturday morning, and an evening reception on Saturday night). Between my family and friends, we paid them $4,606 ($145 for makeup and $59 for hair). I'm sharing these numbers, easily found on their website, because brides deserve to know exactly what kind of treatment they can expect in return.

On the surface, their work was very good. I looked flawless. What happened behind the scenes is why I'm writing this.

On the morning of my wedding, while I was preparing to leave our hotel for my wedding ceremony (being held at a different location), three women I had never seen in my life walked into my husband's and my room (where all our personal belongings including passports, work laptops, and jewelry were being kept). These women were clients of Estudio T, who had decided to use my room as a workspace to take on additional clients without our knowledge or consent.

I went to one of the makeup artists and asked who these women were. Her response was casual and unbothered. I had to make clear that these women needed to leave immediately. I sent a voice message to both the studio owner and my wedding planner flagging what was happening, then went down to the hotel front desk to report that there were unauthorized women in my room. Hotel staff went upstairs and escorted them out. As they exited, the women told the staff they were "wedding guests." They were not my wedding guests. I had never seen them in my life.

I had to leave for my ceremony while still processing what had just happened.

When we got on the phone with the studio owner later that day, she was rude and refused to take full accountability for her mistake. We were obviously very upset, and asked that she at least cover the cost of the room since she had essentially been running a business out of it. She refused. After some back and forth, she agreed to pay for our room, but she would pull her team, leaving our family and friends without hair and makeup for the evening reception. We ultimately agreed to a $300 refund, which she said was what she had earned from the unauthorized clients she brought into our space.

The show had to go on. Her team did everyone's hair and makeup that afternoon, while I dealt with the emotional aftermath of what had happened that morning. It genuinely affected my headspace during what should have been a lovely afternoon before our wedding reception.

Since then, she has blocked both me and my husband on Instagram (although we did nothing to antagonize her social media presence). Villa Bokeh has banned her company from ever working on their property. Bokeh was also very apologetic and accommodating, noting that they would improve their security for future events.

My husband and I saved up for this wedding and wanted to make sure our friends and family had a nice time. And we did, we are so happy with how the weekend came out as a whole, but this situation really shouldn't of happened, and I hope you don't have to deal with it, either.
