Shiny Manaphy Difficulties (PokeFinder 'Gen 4 TID/SID' seemingly not giving correct outputs??) (It's probably me ik)
I really hate to bother, but I've been working at this manip for like 8 hours now, and I'm beginning to lose my mind, so I'm hoping someone here can be generous enough to give me some clarity on what I'm doing wrong. Thanks in advance.
Context: I have a manaphy egg that I recieved in Pokemon Pearl from my copy of Pokemon Ranger SOA - This egg, after determining its IV's and checking with PKSM, should have the following stats:
(Modest) 7 HP, 6 ATK, 5 DEF, 23 SpATK, 5 SpDEF, and 30 SPD
- Running these stats through 'IV's to PID' in PokeFinder says the PID should be 6C738A5E
- However, double-checking using PKSM says the PID should be 27E865FD (assuming the first three bytes encode the PID of a pokemon)
To this I think, "ok, that's fine enough, I'll just try both," and as such I used the 'Gen 4 TID/SID' tab on PokeFinder to find TID and SID's that would work for both. With this I manip'ed to get the following ID combos after resetting my Pearl copy.
For 6C738A5E:
- TID: 05670 ; SID: 61448
For 27E865FD:
- TID: 45456 ; SID: 62341
Yet, to my surprise, neither of these ID combos yielded any shiny manaphy upon hatching the egg. I am absolutely stumped as to what I'm doing wrong here, so any and all assistance would mean the world to me.
