How far would Cosmic Garou get in Smash Bros?

A fun exercise: how far would Cosmic Garou (using all of his shown capabilities) get if he faced (separately) the entire roster of Smash Bros fighters?

Boros vs. Blast

The images aren’t mine. I just screenshotted them because they caught my attention.

So I’ll ask: do you unironically think Boros can beat Blast?

My generic top 10 strongest in OPM

  1. Saitama

  2. God

  3. Garou Cosmic Fear Mode

  4. Blast

  5. Empty Void

  6. Boros

  7. Tatsumaki

  8. Psykorochi

  9. Evil Ocean Water

  10. Sage Centipede

If you consider that Boros (manga) can destroy the planet, top 6 is fine, but if you consider that he can only destroy the surface, then he drops to top 8.

Why is the "squared" in Serious Punch² dismissed as if it were just nomenclature?

I have a question.

During the fight between Monster Garou and Metal Bat against Sage Centipede, the narrator explains that when two powers of extremely similar nature come into contact, resonance and amplification occur.

Even with a difference in raw power, being of similar nature causes the techniques to boost each other explosively (Garou 'raising' Metal Bat's power and vice versa).

Later, when Saitama and Garou (in Mode: Saitama) clash with their Serious Punches, the manga calls it Serious Punch² and the chapter (171) is literally titled "Squared".

So my question is simple:

If the manga had already established the mechanic that powers of similar nature generate resonance and amplification, why do so many people treat the "²" as if it were just a cool name or an aesthetic nomenclature, rather than the direct result of that very rule applied to two forces that are practically the same?

Isn't that precisely what would be expected according to what the narrator himself explained before?

All of Orochi's Techniques

I decided to create this post because I've noticed in versus debates that whenever Orochi's martial arts are brought up, people only mention the Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist as if it were the only thing he copied. It seems to me that a lot is being overlooked, so I want to gather evidence from the manga and from Murata to show that he should have at least 6 techniques in his arsenal.

Starting with the basics:

In chapter 89, Gyoro Gyoro tells Phoenix Man that Orochi, before becoming a monster, was a human "like Garou." He is directly comparing him to someone who is a combat genius and has a supernatural willpower. That explains why Orochi was able to survive Psykos's tortures without losing consciousness or his sanity. He has the same kind of mindset as Garou.

Later, in chapter 94 (the fight against Garou), Gyoro Gyoro confirms that Orochi can copy any movement or technique just by seeing it once. And in a stream, Murata said that the techniques he copies (like the WSRSF) are just as good as Garou's. In other words, they are not inferior copies; they are on the same level as the original user he copied from.

With that, Orochi's Battle IQ should be at minimum on par with Garou's. He would have a learning ability similar to the Hero Hunter's, but with a more advantageous physiology and instant copying.

With that clarified, here is the list of his acquired techniques:

1. Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist

This technique needs no introduction; it was the first one we saw Orochi copy and use against Garou. In short, it serves to deflect and repel any physical or energy attack, redirecting it back at the opponent with twice the force.

2. Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist

Garou used this with his left hand when he charged head-on against Orochi. Thanks to Gyoro Gyoro's earlier statement, Orochi must have acquired it by direct observation upon witnessing Garou use it. This technique consists of manipulating air at extreme speeds to generate cutting gusts as sharp as razors, with a medium to short range.

3. Awakening Breath

Another technique that must have been acquired by Orochi's direct observation upon witnessing Garou use it during their fight. When activated, it works as a temporary power-up that significantly amplifies all of his physical stats (strength, speed, reflexes, endurance, etc.). This is the same technique Garou used in critical moments, such as his fight against the Class-A heroes.

4. Cross Fang Dragon Slayer Fist

Now things get interesting. This technique is a combination of the WSRSF and the WICF. Normally, two people (Bang and Bomb) are needed to execute it, but Garou demonstrated that with enough talent it can be used solo (chapter 130). Since Orochi already has both base techniques and a Battle IQ comparable to Garou's, he should be able to use it as well. This technique generates massive internal shockwaves designed to penetrate any muscular armor, shatter all of the opponent's bones, and cause severe internal bleeding.

5. Roaring Aura Sky Ripping Fist

Same as the previous point; this is a technique executed in combination with the WSRSF and the WICF. Garou was able to unlock it by using both techniques in both hands during his confrontation against Bang. When landing blows with this technique, it unleashes a Ki/Chi vibration and air pressure that generates shockwaves. Even if the opponent manages to block or deflect the strike, the blast wave inevitably propagates through their entire body, fracturing their bones until they are reduced to dust, literally.

6. Gouketsu's Martial Arts

Although we have no description of his movements, Murata mentioned in a stream that he wanted to show Orochi using Gouketsu's techniques, so they are in his arsenal.

Note: Orochi's true advantage is that he can execute these techniques with his entire body: dragons, horns, tendrils, and limbs all at once. He is not limited to two arms like a human. Furthermore, since he has multiple eyes distributed across his form, it is extremely difficult to find a blind spot on him.
