I am looking to make some backyard signs, I am in southern Ontario & choosing a material that is durable for this weather all year round.

Should I go all Acrylic, or wood and what kind of wood works for this weather ?! I have only been working with Basswood so far in my laser machine..

I am newbie, please suggest. Thank you :)
