I am considering a new mouse pad (current: Pulsar Paracontrol), I think I want to try something with more glide for fun. I was wondering if a glass mousepad was worth trying for someone who, does play PVP sometimes, but mostly switched over to a peaceful life of PvE games of various kinds, first and third person. I was looking at something like the Flash Beyond or something more affordable than the high end ones, to try them out, so I was curious if anyone knows if it is worth trying a glass mousepad for the non-typical competitive FPS games that people who care about mousepads and mice are usually playing?
I am trying to decide between trying glass, or going for just a standard cloth, like a mouse mat that would fit my large desk. (ex: Aqua Control 2 I see mentioned a lot in 3XL, or a mousepad company aeroglyde pad for aesthetic). But I am debating if mousepad size, or going glass is worth trying. Or if anyone has another recommendation outside of that like a large mousemat that is lesser known and glass isn't worth it for the PvE setting. I do try to play PvE games with high difficulties so having some performance is preferred, but not as important as PvP for me anymore.
