I currently have an outstanding loan balance with Maya that I haven’t been able to pay for around 2 months because I became unemployed. I’m now trying to get back on track financially and hopefully get hired. I want to ask:

Does HSBC check credit history or CIC records for CSR applicants? Will a 2-month unpaid Maya loan negatively affect my application?

Has anyone here been hired by HSBC even with existing loans or delayed payments? I’m planning to settle the balance once I start working again. I’d appreciate honest advice or shared experiences. Thank you.
