Will Progressive claims adjuster pursue HelloFresh for hit-and-run?

Hi folks,

Yesterday my parked car was hit by a HelloFresh delivery vehicle, causing damage to my front bumper and front-right headlight (2021 Toyota Corolla).

Evidence: I have video evidence (ring doorbell) of the van hitting my car, witness testimony, and sufficient information about my neighbor's HelloFresh delivery to identify which delivery vehicle it would have been. I don't have the vehicle's plate number. A police officer arrived on scene after the incident, viewed all of that evidence, and filed a police report.

Contacting HelloFresh: I contacted HelloFresh to file a complaint, and ask them to cover this with their insurance. However, I am still waiting on them to respond and I am concerned that they will continue stonewalling me. I asked them multiple times for an email acknowledging receipt of my complaint, and for the email address of their legal department and they said they could not provide it.

Ideal outcome: My ideal outcome in all of this is to avoid being out-of-pocket (deductible) for it, and to avoid having this impact my future insurance rates. I don't mind paying my deductible now if I will eventually be refunded.

Question: If I submit my claim to Progressive - will their adjusters be able to pursue HelloFresh so that they can have the damages completely covered by them, including refunding me my insurance deposit, and discounting this from my claims history? Or is there a risk that Progressive just doesn't bother pursuing HelloFresh hard enough, and I am stuck paying this?

Any advice on the best course of action appreciated!

Thanks!
