Hey everyone, I just got extensions for my first time this week! I’m as excited as I am nervous for the big change…

I was curious if anyone has suggestions for cut / products, etc to help blend with my real hair? I know curling is the best way to blend, but I still want to be able to rock a straight hairstyle. I’m willing to lose a little length…

Also, my hair is just so dry and brittle no matter what I do. This pic is after my first wash with extensions. I thought extensions may help with making my hair appear more smooth and kept, but they just get messy and brittle looking quickly like my normal hair. I’ve been using high quality salon products like oils, night masks, etc.

Any tips are appreciated! TYIA!
