I am 19, 6 ft, and currently weigh 209lb. I weighed in last year at 248lb and can visually see and feel an improvement in my health.
My current calorie deficit I keep to is about 1.6k a day. Sometimes I’ll hit 2k (rarely) and others I’ll be under 1k. This has been a consistent thing for the past few months. 3 months ago I started hitting the gym and doing weight workouts, which I love more then I thought I would and go about 4 times a week.
Here is my issue
I have been stuck on 209lb for the past MONTH
I do not know why this is happening, I get decent sleep, usually hit my protein goal, I’m WAY under what I need to be calorie wise, but nothing. Has. Changed.
I understand that sometimes it takes time but seeing no progress in my weight is starting to drive me insane and is extremely demotivating.
Just some extra notes. I do see an increase in muscle mass, but I have trouble seeing how that would keep me above 200lb. I also mainly rely on how my face looks, which I heard is the last part that changes, so that might be part of why I’m frustrated.
Please someone inform me if I’m doing something wrong or if this is normal or what the hell is happening!
