After watching this video, no matter what haters say, the japanese dub is very similar to the 4kids dub.

And I am so happy it does

It really depicts a beautiful and strong bond, with several great and intentional romantic and shippy moments that strongly hint a secret crush between the two of them. Which I love.

BUT ALSO many many important moments that show how much this two kids matter to each other and support each other.

I think, whether you ship this two characters or not, everyone can appreciate their relationship and agree this is one of Ash's closest friends and that they really care about each other.

I still have high hopes in seeing them again together in the anime.

Hopefully, someday, we will be able to see what this iconic relationship develops into!!!!!!
