I am a freshman ebgineering student and my dorm is in bryant hall from the pictures i have seen its clear that the desk is too tiny for me. Do i have options on changing the desk or adding another desk to my room?

i am 17 and i will move to Tuscaloosa in early august but i am very anxious about social life. as a very shy and introverted person i wanted to know if social life will be difficult. Also, i am from eastern Europe so this will be a first time experience for me in the US
