Hi, I’m 21F and about 2 months ago I noticed a rock hard bump about a finger tip away from where my SCM muscle attaches to skull. I’ve had bad posture all of my life and I also have pretty tight muscles in neck because of it. This bump is most palpable when bending my head towards the side my bump is on (to my left). It feels like it goes all the way to my jaw and when my head is in neutral postion it only feels like it is pea sized but when my head is bent it feels like a ball. I have it on both sides of my neck but the left side is definitely more palpable than my right side. Does anyone have anything similar and how did you get rid of it?

Hi, I’m 21F and about two months ago I felt a bump in my neck that is hard as a rock. It is located about a finger tip away under mastoid process but it is not anterior to it but rather exactly under it and a little bit to the back and it is easily palpable. Maybe I can feel it more because I’m constantly messing with it but I would like to now does anyone else feel this and dod you get your answer to what it is?
P.S. it is on both sides of my neck, I have to press moderately to feel it but my left side is more palpable than my right
