My first intro to reddit was two years ago where i'd made an account for a purpose i cannot recall, since then i'd been on and off (without an account) lurking on various subreddits, too intimidated to actually participate, is my fear substantiated or not? In all honesty, i believe i'm looking for some validation that people here are friendly 😅

Edit: to be clear, this is not regarding subreddits/communities as i've found them immeasurably helpful in various ways and while interacting with each other, but more so on the individual people on this platform, and in respect to new people to this platform
