Why they are comparing every aspect with Ramayana...

So everyone knows that Ramayana is using real dubbing artist while using DNEG's inbuilt AI for only visual lip sync. So why they are spreading this fake narrative while promoting Varanasi. This post is from renowned telugu media page. Can we say this insecurity or just using the hype for promotions?

I'm not a hater of either movies, wants both movies to succeed globally

Can we get this level of quality throughout the trailer Tommorow..

What if trailer doesn't deliver good vfx, hate mongers gonna do crazy level of hate mongering against the movie on social media. I hope trailer delivers pushpak vimaan kinda quality throughout the trailer. What do you think? Will they able to deliver it or we all should keep our expectations low? Cuz I'm freakin out for the trailer 😭

Acting Range : Ranbir seems to have pulled two most important emotional beats required for Ramayana

So from these two frames alone from a mere 2 min character intro, we can get some idea about how he's gonna portray range of emotions in movie. In 1st frame he expressed anger, rage while taking vow to take revenge probably during jatayu's death. In 2nd frame he expressed sorrow, grief through eyes with responsibility of a son towards his father. Definitely he has cooked this role. I'm excited to see the range of acting he did in this movie and at the same time a bit scared whether he portrayed a monotonous stereotype lord Ram we have seen in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan or tv serials.

This may backfire the movie and it's acceptance....

So I know for makers the tagline (Our truth, Our history) is very important in terms of marketing and promotions but this may become a negative thing for movie. Now imagine a movie from Hollywood or some other industry is being promoted or introduced to you as your truth your history which is not even related to your history nor your ancestors and you don't even consider it your truth. Then surely you will somehow kinda repel yourself from this movie or kinda tries to ignore it for once. Now for Ramayana being promoted as "Our truth Our history" will surely impact foreign audience. Why would they consider it as their own truth n history?? Surely there will be a doubt for them to consider this movie as their own history or truth and this can impact movie's collections, footfalls n global reach. They should promote it as "Most epic or Greatest story of mankind" or something like this rather than someone's truth or history. Just like The Odyssey is being promoted. They should promote it with tagline of Our truth Our history only in India. For global promotions they should choose the Odyssey way. It will also help them to release it in China as they don't allow religious movies to release. I wish this movie succeeds at box-office and redefines Indian cinema forever. Ohh godd, i have never been this serious for any movie in my whole existence or never will be, i guess....

Edit- bhai mujhe hi kyo itne downvotes milte h hamesha, even if my intentions are genuine for movie 😭

Tbh with that original bgm also, it feels like I'm watching a random tv serial made with AI prompts.. Btw I'm not hating the movie, just wants it to do well on box-office
