I’m rewatching GG for the umpteenth time and in season 1, episode 12, I realized how weird it was that at that point of time was Lorelai was concerned with Lane lying to her mom about the date. If you see previous episodes (like Lane listening to music) and literally even the next episode, Lorelai is completely fine with Lane lying?? It made zero sense to me that Lorelai suddenly cared about Mrs. Kim’s rules for one episode and the rest of the time she literally helps Lane sneak in junk food, CDs, etc. Thoughts?
