Seen certain comments/arguments the last few posts about value vs the shoe, which certainly has its merit for higher end ones.

Chunky Dunkys going for £1400 in a US 12 when they are essentially just another dunk and the value is based on scarcity and market demand etc.

Personally, there’s nothing more I like than seeing not a single person wearing the same shoes as me, regardless of value, although if you are in a special setting or occasion, an expensive rare pair does hit the spot, I wore the OG Offwhite ”Euro” 1’s to get married in and they will always be special.

But, nobody can argue with a good bargain especially when they are verified and you’ve wanted them forever.

Sooo, shitty sob story here (all of my own making) …..

Sold my big collection in pieces 5 years ago for about $80,000 in total as my ex wife turned out to be quite abusive liar and here for one thing and one thing only.

I had everyone of the original Offwhite X Nike “The Ten” all brand new in box too, truly will never get over that loss as I’ll never get those again, it’s too rare and expensive .

Whats worse is I lost most of that money in the divorce as I had to pay her legal costs.

Partly my fault in a way as I should have seen it all coming, but as is life, we all learn the hard way.

Anyways, 5 years later and in relationship where my interests are encouraged, the collection is coming along again.

Not quite at those levels i once was, but I’ll get there. Seeing like minded people in here helps me more than anyone can understand and the size and the value of the collection matters not one bit, it’s about the passion.

Latest addition for today is a shoe that goes with almost anything, Jordan 3 x J Balvin Medellin Sunset In matte black.
