Flight Experience on 8th May and 16th May
Travelled BOM-AUH-FCO to and fro. All flights were normal and layover at Abu Dhabi was all business as usual.
BOM-AUH flight was codeshare with Akasa, which was suspended till 30th April. Was getting quite anxious since there were no indications as to whether Akasa would resume. But Akasa has restarted that flight from 1st May onwards and that went generally smooth, except a delay caused by traffic at BOM due to which we had to rush at AUH to catch the connecting flight.
Return flights were originally booked for 16th May 2300 hrs but it seems Etihad changed their flight scheduled and I was notified to pick an alternative flight about 3-4 weeks prior to the date of departure. Chose the flight at 1135 hrs for same day. Entire process was smooth.
Overall everything was normal.
