Our 14-month-old has always been a great sleeper.

Since she was around 6 months old, she has been sleeping through the night, and during the day she has always really needed her naps. From around 12–14 months, her schedule has been roughly:

Wake-up: around 7:30
Wake windows: 2.5 / 3 / 2.5
Naps: two naps of about 2 hours each
Bedtime: around 19:30

She has been thriving on this schedule.

However, for the past 1.5 weeks or so, she has been refusing her second nap. Her first nap has also become harder: she takes much longer to fall asleep. Sometimes it takes up to an hour. She is not crying, just happily chatting, playing, or chilling in her crib. Sometimes we take her out if it takes too long.

Her first nap can be anywhere between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. Stretching her morning wake window is difficult, though, and by late afternoon or bedtime she is exhausted (and no fun) after being awake for more than 5 hours.

Does anyone have any tips? She does not really seem ready for one nap yet, but she is suddenly refusing naps.
