- I currently use my laptop to run Clip Studio Paint for 2d animation / drawing, Bamboo studio, Da Vinci resolve for video editing, Steam games, and other high demand software (like Dungeon Alchemist). I want to move into vtuber streaming as a hobby, but in doing so I would move away from my ps5 as my main gaming hardware. On that, I love to play games like Baldur's Gate 3, CoD, and cute multiplayer games like fortnite and overcooked / it takes two. So basically, I want a set-up that is capable of running all of the streaming software / facial tracking and audio capturing, while also running games as intensive as Baldur's gate, AND with enough storage for all of my animations and other fun WIP's I like to make on my computer.
- Purchase country? Near Micro Center? (If not US, list local vendors)
- USA - Washington - but I will be driving cross-country to Minnesota in the next 2 months and can stop by a micro center on the way if that will result in a less expensive build.
- Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
- 2 ideally, maybe a third depending on total price. High resolution referred, with true to life color display for when I make colored stickers and prints.
- Budget range? (Include tax considerations)
- Genuinely, I have no clue what a PC this intensive would cost. I would be able to spend up to 3k, but I'd still like to know recommendations up to 5k if that is more reasonable.
- WiFi or wired connection?
- Likely wired, but Wifi would work too.
- Size/noise constraints?
- This isnt as big of an issue - quiet enough that I can have it in my bedroom and still sleep (I'm an average sleeper, not heavy not light), but other than that its not a concern.
- Color/lighting preferences?
- Yellow! Maybe white and pink as well? Something cutesy but not overly feminine
- Any other specific needs?
