I’ve started noticing that I’m losing excitement as I get older. It’s not just about things like trips with friends or birthday parties—it seems to apply to most things. Does anyone else feel the same way, or is it just me?

Sometimes I feel like throwing it all away and starting over in the countryside, living a simpler life, closer to nature and without all the complications of this busy world when life seems to be a mess.

sometimes when life gets overwhelming, I think—it would be so much easier to be a tree or a mountain or even just a rock than to be human. but then I thought about what that life would look like. trees get cut down without notice. highways are cut through mountains. rocks get pushed around where someone else says. All of a sudden, the 'easy life' didn't seem so easy anymore.

I wrote more about it in my blog : https://silentmonkclub.blogspot.com/2026/04/life-comparison.html

hey everyone, i've been writing a blog for a few months now—mostly late-night thoughts, personal observations, and random things that hit different at 2am.

i genuinely enjoy writing, but i feel like my writing could be better, and i don't really know how to improve. i also don't know how to get people to actually find and read my blog.

would really appreciate any honest advice from people who have been doing this longer than me. what helped you improve your writing? and how did you find your first real readers?
