I’ve been getting really into grunge lately and especially their style of singing and then I thought, how do I sing like this? I think adding that slight distortion as a woman is extremely difficult without it sounding forced or just like a teenage boy. For info I sing in a church choir as a tenor so my technique in singing over all is pretty decent but I have a really hard time stylizing it. If any women could share a few tips or just anyone really, that would be much appreciated!
