A free app that compares chargers by wait risk + price for EV Uber drivers

I’ve been reading a lot of EV driver posts here, and one thing kept coming up:

The closest charger is not always the best one when you’re working.

There is an app called NoQueue Charge (full disclosure: I built it) that shows real-time availability, short/busy wait signals, current $/kWh, price schedules, EA/EVgo filters, and alerts when chargers are likely to open up.

I built it after seeing how much unpaid time EV drivers lose to charging decisions. It’s free.

For drivers here: when you pick a charger during a shift, what matters more: cheapest price, no wait, charger speed, or reliability?

App is free. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/noqueue-charge-ev-stations/id6760142119

I’m working on a free tool for EV Uber/Lyft drivers, and I want to ask drivers before I build the wrong thing.

My motivation is simple: rideshare drivers work hard, and charging cost, waiting time, broken chargers, and payment holds can directly affect take-home pay. I want to build something practical that helps lower operating cost or reduce unpaid time.

For drivers who rely on public fast charging:

  1. When you choose where to charge during a shift, what matters most: price, speed, open stalls, reliability, location, bathrooms/food, or payment holds?

  2. Would you drive 2-3 extra miles to save about $5 on a charge? What if it adds 10 minutes?

  3. Which charging networks do you actually use most?

  4. Are Uber/Lyft charging discounts actually useful, or too hard to verify?

  5. What is the biggest public charging problem for EV rideshare drivers?

  6. What would a free charging app need to show before you’d actually use it?

No private info needed. I’m just trying to understand the real workflow from drivers who charge for work.
