Crystal Super Micro Oled Engine Head Tracking Jitters
I was excited to receive my Micro O-LED optical engine a week ago however it has head tracking issues! it would have constant micro jitters to the point it was very annoying, this is not a "stuttering" as such which would indicate a CPU latency issue but its rather a jitter where the image would leap ahead of the of the movement in each frame. It would go away momentarily but always return.
Prior to recieving the micro Oled engine I was happily using my 57PPD optical engine for about 9 months with no issues, even the tracking was great.
I have come to the conclusion something is wrong with the micro O-LED engine hardware. I raised a ticket and regarding this and explained that I was already using the 57PPD engine with out this issue and all they could say was try and reduce CPU latency, make sure the room was wel lit etc... however the isue does not happen on my 57PPD engine which uses the same inside-out tracking cameras as I try to explain, so its not the headset or my computer (Rizen 9950X3D and a RTX5090). I swapped many times back and forth to confirm the issue was just with the O-LED engine, and it is. Has any one else had similar issues with thier Micro-Oled engines? is my unit faulty and should I return it for another one?
