Is it possible to be scammed as a seller through eBay authenticator?
Selling an expensive card ($6k or so) through eBay via the authenticator for the first time so any help is much appreciated.
My research tells me I should be covered by eBay however a few things made me slightly suspicious (or just paranoid!) and would like to check. 1. They overpaid for the card by about 1.5k based on last sales (it's low pop, around 500 however sells around 3 times a month so not impossible to find and has a long price history that is fairly stable) 2. Their profile was originally set to private which was a big red flag however they have since made it public (they have only bought, no sales) and it does actually have only good feedback dating a few years back including recent purchases from PSA themselves.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I feel like I should probably be covered but would like to hear any opinions or stories from people with more knowledge if possible.
