Sold a big card last week and now I have sellers remorse

Be careful with what you sell. Money isn't everything guys.

EDIT:

Folks,

It's not about the money. I actually sold it because the price was right but the victory is hollow.

Lost Orgin ETB

Would you spend $400 for 2 Lost Orgin ETBs ? I wouldnt open for awhile or sell unless the money was up there. You think this would be a good investment ?

Found my old collection

Been sitting in a closet for the last 25 years. Got some others too but I figured these were the big hitters. Might head down to the local card shop to see what they’re worth!

Need advice on a trade

I would be trading the umbreon and receiving the sealed product. I’m kinda thinking this is a good deal for me, thoughts?

Gold Star Investment

I'm wondering what some thoughts are on investing in a gold star card. I'm willing to spend around 1-1.3k for a gold star and am not too picky on which one (minus the regis). Is this even a reasonable amount of money to spend, can I even get something worthwhile? If so what should I buy. Ive done a bit of research on my own, looking for the opinion of someone a bit more experienced with this market.

What do you think of this trade?

Looking to trade some of my sealed into more exclusive boxes. Mainly for looks and less space needed but the value is equally as important.

These are my only 3 ASC etb's, another option is 2 etbs's and 2 booster bundles (got 4 in total).

Also thinking about trading 3 Prismatic Figure collections for 1 PKC eten for the same reason.

Would love to hear your thoughts!

What sealed would you invest in right now for the best long term ROI

I'm about to get a decent chunk of money and I've been thinking about putting some of it into some sealed to hold for a few years. Just wondering what people think is the best choice to buy and hold right now?

I'm not looking for a quick return, I'm probably gonna hold for 5+ years so looking for something that will continue to appreciate each year and hopefully be easy to liquidate once I'm ready. Probably gonna drop about £1k total on this so there's quite a few options in that price bracket.

Should I just grab like 3 PC Ascended Heroes ETBs or maybe grab a booster box of an older set? I feel like the ship has sailed with 151 as the entry price is so high now that the ROI is probably not going to be as high as a brand new set like AH, but I'm happy to hear others opinions on this. I'm assuming that it might be hard to sell an ETB that costs over £1k, and maybe something like a booster box would be more desirable due to the large number of packs?

I know that no one has a crystal ball and I know that taking investment advice from Reddit is dumb, if the market crashes and I lose my money I don't care, I'll just rip and enjoy, just interested to hear peoples thoughts. Thanks in advance!

Open or Hold

As title states, should I keep these sealed or open them ? The ones I crossed off are the ones I opened. Ideally i'm keeping these for value or for my kids to open later on in the years if they have any interest in Pokemon. I just started out a couple months ago. I do like to collect cards but I have horrible luck when it comes to opening packs and etc. Let me know your thoughts !

This PSA 10 Reverse Holo Raichu just sold for $15,000. The exact same graded copy (same cert number) sold for $305 just 7 months ago.

Do you actually enjoy sealed collections?

Aside from all the craze going on in the hobby and buying up whatever product you can, do you actually enjoy owning and looking at sealed products like etb’s and boosters boxes. I personally don’t have any sealed all raw singles but I don’t see the enjoyment of closed boxes. And this is value aside ik the investing and profit side of keeping sealed.
