I ran the LDN Marathon last Sunday and finished sub 5:15. I am 6”0 and 86 kgs. I missed my goal of sub 4:30 but hindsight I think the goal was a little far fetched since I sustained an IT Band syndrome injury during my training. I also did a 2:08 HM in February. I want to get better from here. I feel like I started conditioning my body for long distance running too late, after the injury. I should have started earlier. But apart from this, what advice would you give to someone who just ran their first marathon and wants to get better.
