I posted about a month ago and people gave me some advice. Well I fertilized, added some compost, and mulched and my blackberry bush has come back to life with like 4-6 new canes!! My first time with fruits so I am very excited. Just wanted to thank the kind people here who gave advice.

I peed on the compost a couple times this week and now I'm at active temps!! (This of course has nothing to do with the weather warming up here.) I choose to believe the pee caused the heat.

First spring in a new house and I have quite a few of these growing in my yard and wondering what they may be? These ones next to hostas are pretty large to try and pull. I'm in Michigan for info as well.
