Dusty ass Chicago porch

Hi everyone I live in a typical Chicago apartment with a typical wooden fire escape porch facing our alley. It’s a decent enough size and currently we have a couple of plastic chairs on it. I’d love to do more with it this year but the problem is the whole porch constantly feels dirty like there’s a layer of dust on it.
Any of you have this issue? What ideas do you have to make it a nicer space that people want to hang out on. The obvious answer is cover up the furniture but it’s even the ground idk.

Wait for FSA for Invisalign or start now

I’ve been waiting to start Invisalign for years now due to wanting to feel certain I’m in a good place financially, finding a good deal, getting my teeth healthy. I’m finally here and found a dentist near Chicago that charges a very low rate, $3600 because he works closely with Invisalign and gets good deals (molis dental).

My insurance does not cover orthodontia so I plan to pay that out of pocket. I’m so ready to start and feel comfortable with the price. However it just dawned on me that If I had an FSA I’d be able to use that to pay for it. I have really low health payments now and don’t have an FSA. My question is it worth it again to wait for open enrollment which is in November, open an FSA and pay into it and then start? If so, would it make financial sense to just max it out in a couple paychecks and then stop or make monthly payments and wait like a whole year?

Btw the dentist does offer an interest free payment plan so I think I could use the money as it comes into the FSA to pay that way instead.

I kind of just want to start but if it could make a huge difference I’d consider. Btw I make about 99k a year.
