My daughter has a dance recital in Lawrence and we’re staying there next weekend. Any good recommendations for kids activities or kid-friendly restaurants in town?!

I got a gel mani today in Olathe. It’s builder gel. Supposed to be $55 for a builder gel mani. I went to check out and the lady charged me $55 for builder gel, $8 for shaping my nails, $10 for trimming my cuticles, and $15 (!!) dollars for chrome and $2 service fee for paying with card. ~90 bucks with tax. Am I a young boomer? I’m absolutely flabbergasted and need to know if this is normal or crazy expensive.
