My haplogroup is J-Y965 but I can’t really find much info on it. Apparently it’s been found in Gandhāra grave culture - does that mean it has a South Asian origin via Iran_N to IVC? or did it come here from BMAC. Or, is its presence in GGC an outlier

Uncovering the past of Northern Punjab via DNA?

From what I can see online, both the Tanoli and Awan tribes are genetically very similar. They seem to score quite similarly on Harappa and g25. Both seem to maintain traditions of foreign descent but score very much like a native group.

I’m wondering if there is significant data on the other native tribes of the region (north Punjab-Hazara), and if it’s likely these groups will all be added to Genoplot soon?
