Posted these up at the 3 and 6 month mark too. Closing in on the finish link of the IIY5, and I'm really hoping these will stay work-acceptable until the end.

I've now blown through one of the knees a bit, and my walking has caused some serious wear through in the seat too. I love the way the kusaki weft highlights these battle scars. The sea green feels like a slice through the ocean into the depths of a kelp forest.

Certain parts of the classic wear patterns have taken a while to emerge - honeycombs and railtracks are only just starting to show up, which is a lot slower than many of my other pairs. The whiskers are going strong, and the fades on the fly are great too. A heavy wrinkle emerged there from working a desk job and it's never really unfolded, so some of the original colour is always tucked away.
