Late last year, I made the decision to stop streaming and go with physical media. I did some research and landed on the Panasonic UB820. I wanted the Oppo UDP-203 but wasn’t able to locate one for a reasonable price.
I was satisfied with the Panasonic but kept an eye out for an Oppo. Last week, one popped up on Marketplace. It was part of a bundle but the seller was willing to split the sale. I made a fair offer and after a two hour drive, I had me an Oppo.
Got it hooked up last night and was very pleased. I love the back-lit remote and just ordered my first SACD, Van Halen - 1984.
This is going to be fun!
