4th Dimension
Hey, sadly I was involved in a serious crash at the start of April when a herd of red deer decided to start crossing the road when I was travelling home and I hit one at national speed limit.
It wrote off my R6, I also endured two broken arms, a deer antler gored my left thigh, I have damaged vertebrae, internal bleeding, bruised lungs amongst other less serious injuries.
I contacted my insurance, and they passed it on to 4th dimension. Since, they have been trying to find any reason not to pay out. Today, they are now telling me because I notified a previous insurer about a accident that happened a year ago that wasn’t my fault but didn’t intentionally claim and then cancelled said claim when the insurance company mistakenly thought that’s what I wanted to do I have to pay for the policy to be amended. They also tried to say my job was wrong (catering manager I am a head chef and manager) etc etc.
With my injuries, I am currently six weeks off work and likely to have another four whilst I recover, even when I go back to work I’m going to have a long and strenuous journey as my work involved a lot of dexterity and strength my arms are going to have to build up from scratch.
All I want is the payout so I can afford basic things as sick pay is sod all and as it’s a deer I hit I can’t even claim personal injury, to make it worse the excess is already £750, about half of what they valued the R6 so already I’m down.
I find it crazy I was already paying £2,500 a year for this coverage, and now going through what I have I’m forced into financial hardship and I can’t even get back to work because this scummy company wasn’t to save £750.
How the fuck does it make sense? I hit a deer almost bleed out on the road, total loss on bike, life changing injuries and somehow I might end up owing the insurance company money?
Absolutely sick to death at this point.
